A Bit About Us
Here at Anubhuti, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for systemic level change, and since our beginnings, we’ve been driven by the untouched issues of society. We founded Anubhuti as a support, empowerment, and sustainable solution.
Our Journey Till Now
With a motto of creating an educational environment for underprivileged children, Anubhuti is becoming a bridge between School and Community.
Here is our story so far…
The journey began with tracking children in slums of Ghaziabad, identified dropouts and out of school children brought to open park Revamping center Vasundhara, Ghaziabad. With 30 students Hustled every single day to taught them, raise the needful awareness, and held cultural events to make sure children got some platform to perform. This was after school program but in the case of the dropouts of that particular slum area, it was the only school run for 4 hours in the park
The family grew to 150 children being admitted to Govt. & Private schools. We build our knowledge around the sustainable solution and come up with bridge courses to enhance age-appropriate learning levels. Education along with health targeted through awareness sessions on Menstruation Hygiene in the tribal belt of Chikhaldara Block, Amravati, Maharashtra. A step forward by successfully establishing Computer labs in the Jilha Parisad School Badnapur, Chikhaldara, Amravati, Maharashtra with the help of Goonj Organization.
During this period, Anubhuti collaborated with the District Administration of Karnal and Chief Minister Good Governance program. Here, we approached the communities with the help of 8 volunteers, identified children, and built their conceptual knowledge so they got admission in schools.
Under the Back to School Program, by now we have admitted more than 3000 students in 5 government schools. This program aims to reinforce the RTE Act by bringing out of the school children in the age group of 6-14 years to the formal education system, providing them with age-appropriate learning competencies, encompassing social skills and cognitive growth, and mainstream them in the formal education.
Established 498 reading corners impacting 50,000 students in 498 Primary schools of Karnal district of Haryana with the help of SSA.
Worked to regulate its functioning in order to enhance the reading comprehension skills among the students. This was done under Vachan-e- Khel program where 50 % of each class able to read their textbooks.
The learnings and experience from the field encourage us to evolve and we taught to make it sustainable at the systemic level as per the need of stakeholders.
