Who we are...

As its name suggests, Anubhuti is an organization that cares deeply about the underprivileged, particularly children who face multiple constraints that prevent them from accessing education. These constraints can cause them to drop out of school, leaving them with no support to continue their studies

Anubhuti is a non-profit organization founded in 2016 by Ms. Sakshi Srivastava with a focus on supporting underprivileged children who face numerous constraints that lead to them dropping out of formal schooling. This can be due to various reasons such as extreme poverty, unemployment, child labor, migration, or gender-based issues like marriage and responsibilities. Anubhuti is dedicated to addressing the issue of educational dearth caused by these factors and aims to create opportunities for individuals to sustain their lives in India's rural corners, urban slums, and educationally backward regions by mobilizing communities and empowering stakeholders. The organization's goal is to mitigate economic and social marginalization in education, particularly among underprivileged children who have dropped out or are out of school at an early age.

The journey began with tracking children in slums of Ghaziabad, identified dropouts and out of school children brought to open park Revamping center Vasundhara, Ghaziabad. With 30 students Hustled every single day to taught them, raise the needful awareness, and held cultural events to make sure children got some platform to perform. This was after school program but in the case of the dropouts of that particular slum area, it was the only school run for 4 hours in the park

Anubhuti collaborated with Karnal District Administration and Chief Minister's Good Governance program to approach communities with 8 volunteers and help identify children, building their conceptual knowledge and facilitating admission into schools. The Back to School Program has successfully enrolled over 3000 students in 5 government schools, reinforcing the RTE Act and providing age-appropriate learning competencies. Additionally, Anubhuti established 498 reading corners in primary schools impacting 50,000 students in Karnal district with the help of SSA. The Vachan-e-Khel program was implemented to enhance reading comprehension skills among students, with 50% of each class able to read their textbooks. These experiences have encouraged Anubhuti to evolve and make sustainable systemic changes based on stakeholder needs.

The family grew to 150 children being admitted to Govt. & Private schools. We build our knowledge around the sustainable solution and come up with bridge courses to enhance age-appropriate learning levels. Education along with health targeted through awareness sessions on Menstruation Hygiene in the tribal belt of Chikhaldara Block, Amravati, Maharashtra. A step forward by successfully establishing Computer labs in the Jilha Parisad School Badnapur, Chikhaldara, Amravati, Maharashtra with the help of Goonj Organization.

We got selected for Teach for India incubation, I=Venture indication by the Indian School of Business, IIM Culcata Incubation and many more. These learnings and network helped us to work on our problem statement and solution. We launched The Bridge Fellowship with District administrative and then called it across the state, We

Along with fellowship pilot batch recruitment and inductions, we hit COVID-19, and everything got stuck. Our stakeholders and communities were the most affected, so we responded to the need by initiating the Nivala - a campaign to provide dry rations to families and individuals. In light of the extended lockdown and wave after wave, an education-on-call initiative was taken to address distance learning. In response to the second and third waves, we did Nivala 2.0 and Mission Sanjeevani campaign. We provided Oxygen cylinders, medicines, PPE kits, and rations to more than 2000 families and Primary Health Centers in Delhi NCR, UP, and Mumbai.

The journey so far...
